ExpressCare logoBaltimore, MD. - ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers, Maryland's fasting growing and second largest urgent care company, is opening three new locations before 2015 to provide more families with needed medical treatment in their own neighborhoods. In December, this LifeBridge Health partner will add centers in Arbutus and Laurel, both in Maryland, and Bear in Delaware.

ExpressCare currently operates 11 sites in Baltimore, Harford, Cecil, Carroll, Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties in Maryland and one center in Delaware.

The Laurel location opens December 1 in the new Towne Centre at Laurel.
The Arbutus location opens December 22at 3815 Wilkens Avenue.
The new Delaware location opens December 29 at Governor's Square Shopping Center.

ExpressCare medical staff members see patients seven days a week until 9 p.m. with no appointment necessary. However, a new service is now being offered. Patients can reserve a time online so they don't have to wait in line when they arrive. The website for "ExpressPass" reservations is whywaitintheer.com.

"We are fulfilling our mission to give families across Maryland and in Delaware the chance to get the medical care they need when they need it and where it is close to home," said Maurice Reid, M.D., the CEO and chief medical director of ExpressCare. "We want to provide a far-reaching network of care with accessible, high quality, professional treatment."

Most non-life threatening conditions can be treated at ExpressCare, including the flu, infections, ear aches, broken bones, burns and bites.

Future plans involve expanding to more locations. Last October, ExpressCare partnered with LifeBridge Health, one of the largest, most comprehensive healthcare organizations in the region that includes Sinai, Northwest Hospital, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, and related affiliates and subsidiaries.
