The Benjamin and Margaret Schapiro Cardiac Diagnostic Center merges the latest in medical technology and patient comfort.
The center features five state-of-the-art catheterization labs and is the first hospital in greater Baltimore to offer a flat-panel, biplane X-ray machine. Our physicians and technicians can now take images of the heart at two different angles, providing crisp, clean digital images of a patient's arteries and veins. This "high-definition TV for the heart" can reduce procedure time; aid in the performance of complex procedures; and ultimately provide better, safer outcomes.
We have 24 private outpatient rooms, equipped with cutting-edge clinical devices with room for staff and family members.
The Schapiro Cardiac Diagnostic Center's admissions area lets patients check in directly to the unit. Friends and family members can relax in a spacious waiting room with direct access to the recovery rooms.
